I am looking for ideas on how to mount a transparancy onto a canvas for a mixed scrapbook media idea?
I painted a piece of canvas and embellished it with a photo and some decorative paper. I want to add a transparency with a copy of the photo onto the canvas but am having trouble coming up with a way to mount it. I would like to have the transparency be raised up off of the canvas and the rest of the work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
You could use a hole punch or a needle to make holes in the corners of your transparency, then fasten it to the canvas with metal brads. A little washer or bead can be a spacer. You can find all that stuff in the scrapbooking section of your local craft store.
