Can someone recommend a scrapbook kit I can buy at a northeast chain store?
I’m beginner, so I have no idea what I’m doing. I would like to scrapbook mementos and photos of my boyfriend and I.
Ideally I would like a good-looking affordable kit that makes it easy for a beginner to get into the process. I don’t mind going out on my own and buying new ribbon and more fancy scissors later, but for now I would just like everything to be in a package since I know I’ll forget or not think of something.
I would like it to be more like a binder than a book, so if I forget a page about something, or put events out of order, I can still rearrange pages.
I should be able to get it at a major chain, because I’ve waited too long and can’t order it online in time.

Joann’s has exactly what you are asking for, also Michael’s and A.C. Moore. Most kits do NOT include scissors. Sam’s Club has some for around $20 that look okay. Joann’s also has “pre-made pages” that you add your photos to. These come four pages to a package for around $5. You will still have to buy an album, but this will give you an excellent, professional-looking result. Good luck! Scrapbooking is one of those things that you can get good at very quickly, yet always has room for expanding your horizons.
