Having a baby is such a miraculous experience that all the memories in pregnancy and giving birth should be treasured. Counting the fingers and toes, kissing your baby, figuring out who she looks like the most, deciding on a name – it’s the all around encounter that makes you so overprotective when she grows up.
Who wouldn’t want to treasure such a precious memory? Here are some baby scrapbook ideas to help you in building the book that will treasure your daughter’s entry to the world.
Dream theme
Baby scrapbook ideas like the dream theme relies on what each parent dreams for their daughter. Use light colors for a background, felt paper as photo mats and yellow or pink ribbons for photo outlines. Cut out magazine images of what you’d like your baby to be when she grows up, cut out beautiful dresses for her prom, or the icon of Princeton to remind your young one to always follow her dreams. Create a 3D heart with polymer clay to remind her of how fragile her heart can be. When your daughter is old enough, show her the scrapbook to show her of your love.
Doll Theme
The doll theme is one of the most common baby scrapbook ideas. Dolls are the main interests of young girls so to portray this in your scrapbook, use small paper dolls or cut-outs from magazines. If your scrapbook can handle a 3D doll, create one from polymer clay or buy small sized dolls to decorate the pages of your scrapbook. Highlight with the usual scrapbook embellishments.
